At the time, it was considered too complex to produce. It took over 40 years before the design could finally be realised and brought into production in 2003.
Formed from three identical pieces of moulded plywood, the gently twisted structure is unlike anything else — sculptural, yet balanced. It works just as well as a functional stool as it does as a quiet object in the room.
