Condition
This is a vintage piece and shows signs of age and natural material movement. Due to the dry Nordic climate, the wood has developed cracks over time, including small openings in the base. For this reason, it is no longer suitable for serving food.
Today, it works beautifully as a decorative object or for storing lightweight items such as letters, accessories, tea utensils, or small personal treasures.
Surface wear, lacquer loss along the edges, and other marks of time are present and form part of the piece’s authentic character.
