Shichita Series

Five little cat faces, each with their own gentle expression.

The story of this series began on a summer day,  July 7th, Tanabata, when a stray cat wandered into a pottery studio in Gifu. The potters named her Shichita, and she quietly became the inspiration behind this playful collection.

Each small dish features one of her imagined companions: Nora, Mike, Dora, Hachiware and Scottish : illustrated in soft indigo blue on traditional Minoyaki porcelain.

Perfect for soy sauce, pickles, small sweets, or as a small resting place for rings and everyday little treasures.

Made in Gifu, Japan,  a region with over 1,000 years of pottery heritage.
