The Sake Snowman is a set which forms a snowman when the large and small sake cups are stacked on the Tokkuri pitcher. The set makes your drinking more enjoyable with the unique shape and the bisque finish that brings out the beauty of the white porcelain. The convenience of the design is also appealing, such as the ability to prevent dust from getting inside during storage by stacking, and the ability to warm up the cup without getting wet simultaneously when heating up sake. A special gift box is also available for the set.
Made by hand by experienced pottery artisans in Aichi, the Ceramic Japan Sake Bottle Cup Set Snowman Design is the way to enjoy that most authentic Japanese beverages, sake. The snowman-shaped bottle comes with two cups that also serve as lids. Suitable for both warm and chilled sake, the ceramic set features either a matte glazed finish.

Major works include branding for DENSHIRO, HIKIYOSE, and ISUTOKU, product design for KOTORI (h concept) and ECLIPSE (sghr), and interior design for EDITORY.
Accolades include Good Design Award (2004, ’11, ’13, ’14), red dot design award (2010), Design for Asia Award (Hong Kong, 2012), award for excellence at Tokyo Business Design Award 2013.
Past exhibits include A Dream Come True (Milan, 2007), Product Design Today: Creating “Made in Japan” (The National Museum of Modern Art), among numerous others."
