Low Seat Chair

Designed bySakakura Junzo Architectural Research Institute

Originally created for a space by renowned architect Sakakura Junzo, the Low Seat Chair is designed to blend seamlessly into any interior.

“I wanted a chair that fits naturally in a Japanese room and offers deep relaxation.”

With its simple, timeless form, this chair suits both Japanese and Western spaces. The low seat height (29 cm) lets you sit comfortably — legs stretched out or folded — while the angled backrest and thick cushion provide soft support without putting pressure on your lower back.

Sled-style legs help protect tatami mats and carpets, but the chair also looks perfectly at home on wood and other flooring.
