Noda Horo has been making enamelware in Japan since 1934, producing each piece through the complete process of forming, welding, glazing and firing in its own factory.
The Am Kettle has a familiar, slightly nostalgic shape — the kind of kettle that simply looks right sitting on the stove. Behind that traditional appearance is a carefully considered design. The handle and lid knob were designed by Japanese product designer Fumie Shibata, with an emphasis on comfort and ease of use.
Its name has a little story too. “Am Kettle” comes from “I am Kettle” — conceived as a kettle that feels almost like the essence of what a kettle should be.
Made from enamel-coated steel, it combines good heat conductivity with a smooth glass-like surface, making it especially suited to boiling water. The broad, stable body holds 2 litres and works with gas as well as induction.
A long-lasting Japanese kitchen staple with a shape that feels both nostalgic and completely at home today.
