Maneki-neko Patch | Health & Protection
A small embroidered patch featuring a red maneki-neko, or beckoning cat.
In Japan, red has traditionally been seen as a protective colour that wards off illness and misfortune. The words above the cat read ekibyō taisan and mubyō sokusai, meaning protection from disease and a wish for continued good health.
The raised right paw is also believed to invite money and good luck.
The patch can be used as either a sticker or an iron-on patch, making it easy to add to bags, shirts, notebooks, phone cases and other everyday items.
