Nabeshima Yaki Teacup | White

€37,95

This sencha cup is crafted by Nabeshima Kosengama, a historic kiln devoted to preserving the refined techniques of Nabeshima ware in Imari City, Saga Prefecture.

It is finished with a luminous celadon glaze made from high-purity celadon ore, sourced exclusively from Okawachiyama—the only place in Japan where this rare gemstone can be found. The result is a mesmerising jade-like surface in a soft, translucent blue-green, reminiscent of fresh blue maple leaves in early summer.

Each cup is carefully handmade, and no two are exactly alike. Slight variations in color and form are not imperfections, but part of their quiet charm—an elegant expression of Japanese craftsmanship and tradition.

Nabeshima celadon is known for its refined, serene beauty. With over 300 years of expertise in celadon making and painting, the Torasen family continues to honour this legacy, transforming a rare natural ore into pieces of timeless elegance.

Since it is made by hand, there are individual differences in color and shape.
