MAME 豆皿
A small bean dish that is familiar to the Japanese and makes it feel nostalgic and charming. Many bean dishes have been made in the Hizen area, known as the place of production of ceramics. Encouraging the demand for bowls that are not too large in Japan's unique meal format, bean dishes became widespread as common bowls during the Edo period. A small vessel that fits in the palm of the hand uses many auspicious motifs and patterns such as nature and animals that have been loved for a long time, and you can see the fashion and lifestyle of the people at that time. Under such circumstances, “MAME” has been reprinted with a focus on the traditional design of the Genroku period, and a new design has been created there.
