HASAMI Rice Bowl | Tokusa

190 kr

Hasami ware (波佐見焼 Hasami-yaki) is a type of Japanese pottery traditionally from Hasami, Nagasaki prefecture. Originally produced for common people, Hasami porcelain has a history of 400 years

A classic item of Hasami ware, this rice bowl is designed with a wide mouth and a slightly taller, broader foot, giving it excellent balance, comfort in the hand, and ease of use.

The design showcases the traditional Tokusa (vertical stripe) pattern, with blue for the large size and brown for the small size.

With its warmth and nostalgic charm, this rice bowl is made to be a long-lasting companion for your everyday dining table.

Please note: Because these bowls are made from zarame clay, small iron spots or pinholes may appear. These are natural characteristics of pottery and part of its charm.

Please note that each piece vary as they are made by hands.
