A ceramic soup mug with excellent heat retention. This piece combines traditional Tobikanna and Brushed Decorationtechniques—hallmarks of Japanese folk craftsmanship—with colored glaze and a clean, linear form, giving it a Scandinavian antique-like charm.

The wide mouth design makes it easy to pour soup with a ladle while minimizing spills and mess.

Care instruction:
Hand washes only with mild detergent and a soft sponge.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans. Since most of our ceramics are made from natural materials, slight variations in color and texture may occur. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the uniqueness of each piece.

1. Microwave & Dishwasher
Only underglaze porcelain is safe for use in microwave ovens and dishwashers.
Overglaze-decorated products may contain metallic elements that can react with microwave radiation and alkaline dishwasher detergents, potentially damaging the decoration.
The high water pressure in dishwashers and contact between dishes may cause damage to porcelain items.

2. Matte Glaze
Matte glaze surfaces may develop metal marks from knives, forks, or other utensils.
These marks can often be removed with a pencil eraser or a commercially available metal mark remover.
If you have any questions about specific product characteristics, please feel free to contact us.

3. Handling Earthenware
Some earthenware is absorbent. Prolonged soaking in water may cause water absorption, odor, or discoloration.
We recommend lightly wetting the item before use, washing it promptly after use, and ensuring it is fully dried before long-term storage.

4. About Differences from Product Images
As ceramics are molded and fired from natural materials, variations in color, iron spots, pinholes, and glaze unevenness are normal.
Items are shipped only after passing our inspection standards, and such minor differences do not affect appearance or usability.
Since inspections are done manually, in rare cases defects may be overlooked. If you believe the product is defective, please contact us.
