A uniquely shaped mug with a waist. While it has a dull and stable feeling like sushi and sanju. The handles that are made by hand are made slightly thicker than ordinary ones so that they can be gripped tightly.

Oribe ware named after Furita Oribe, who learned Wabicha as a disciple of Sen no Rikyu.
Furuta Oribe, who loves unbridled beauty over quiet beauty, loves Mino ware, which is called "heugemono", and was born while teaching pottery.
Oribe's green is variously expressed by the kiln. Oribe ware is called "Oribe ware" and I decided to stop using the old designs and colors, and blended it into the Oribe color that better suits my current eating habits.

After Purchase
Please perform medome (boiling the item in rice-washing water before first use). Pottery is porous and can easily absorb stains, which may lead to mold or discoloration.
The starch in the rice water fills the tiny surface pores, helping to prevent stains from seeping in.
When Using
To help prevent stains, soak the item in clean water before use so it absorbs some moisture. Even a short 5–10 minute soak can reduce the chance of staining.
After Use
Wash promptly with detergent, wipe with a dry cloth, and allow the piece to dry thoroughly before storing. Storing while damp can cause mold or unpleasant odors.
If Stains or Odors Appear
Even with careful use, some food stains or tea marks may develop over time. If this happens, soaking the item in a solution of 1 liter of water with 4 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar can help reduce them.
Please also consider stains as part of the vessel’s natural aging, adding character and beauty with use.
