Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten's wind chimes make you feel the characteristics of craft production areas through their tone and appearance. Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture has been making castings since the Edo period. It is a wind chime made using the "orin" of Takaoka copperware, which is a popular producer of Buddhist altar fittings. Using a unique blend of copper alloy that focuses on sound, and combining wood with clappers, it creates a dignified and gentle sound.
