Red Oni Figurine | Japanese Vintage

€31,95

This vintage figurine portrays a red oni (demon) in a playful, almost manekineko-like pose. With one arm raised as if beckoning good fortune, and a joyful smile across his face, he transforms from the fearsome figure of folklore into a cheerful guardian. Dressed in blue shorts with floral patterns and holding a club, he combines the traditional traits of an oni with the welcoming charm of a lucky talisman.

Rooted in Japanese culture, oni are often featured during Setsubun, when beans are thrown to chase away misfortune. This figure, however, suggests the opposite — an oni that protects and invites happiness. A unique decorative piece, it brings both folklore character and a lively splash of color to any shelf or seasonal display.

As this is a vintage item, color fading, small scratches, and minor defects may appear. If you have any concerns about the condition, please contact us before your purchase: shop@zakkasine.com
