A small embroidered patch featuring a black maneki-neko, or beckoning cat.
In Japan, black is traditionally seen as a protective colour. The words above the cat read kanai anzen and mayoke, expressing wishes for safety at home and protection from misfortune.
The raised left paw is believed to welcome people and meaningful connections.
The patch can be used as either a sticker or an iron-on patch, making it easy to add to bags, shirts, notebooks, phone cases and other everyday items.
