HELLO KITTY NAMBU IRON
Hello Kitty, but surprisingly useful.
This small cast-iron Kitty is made from traditional Japanese Nambu ironware. Add her to a pot or kettle while boiling water and a small amount of iron dissolves into the water. She can also be used in traditional Japanese cooking to help deepen the colour of black beans and pickles.
A rather unexpected meeting of Hello Kitty and old-school Japanese kitchen wisdom.
