Beckoning Cat Glass Candy Jar
A glass jar shaped like a beckoning cat with an adorable, relaxed expression.
The lid is individually crafted using metal spinning (hera-shibori) techniques.
In Japan, glass candy jars come in various shapes that have long delighted people at rice cracker shops and traditional sweet shops.
We have reproduced these glass jars, which were gradually disappearing due to manufacturing difficulties. It is a decorative interior jar with a nostalgic charm.
The jar opening is wide enough for a child's hand to easily slide in. (Opening diameter: 7 cm. An adult hand measuring about 20 cm wide when fully spread can also fit inside.)
