SETOWA Dish | Ceramic Japan
Setowa – Embracing the Essence of Seto Tradition
The Setowa series celebrates the rich heritage of Seto ware, featuring iconic traditional glazes: Oribe (deep green), Ame (warm amber), and Kiseto (soft yellow). Each piece showcases subtle wheel-thrown textures, preserving the artisanal charm of handcrafted ceramics.
Designed with practical depth and a comfortable lightness, these versatile vessels are ideal for soups, stews, and a variety of everyday dishes. Over time, they develop a unique patina, enhancing their beauty and embodying the wabi-sabi aesthetic of impermanence and imperfection.
