This product, launched in 2015, created a new style of incense through a collaboration of traditional local industries in Hyogo Prefecture. The specially developed incense has a match-striking tip.
Awaji Island boasts 60% of Japan's incense production, and the Harima region (around Himeji City) accounts for 90% of the nation's match production. The fusion of these century-old, unchanged technologies resulted in this groundbreaking product.
Usage is extremely simple: light it like a match, wait for the flame to extinguish, and then place it on the exclusive mat. A wonderful aroma spreads with the smoke for about 10 minutes.
