Seto Maneki-Neko "Fukumusubi" — White / Right Paw Raised (No. 5 / 15 cm)
Characterized by its slender posture and graceful, arched back—much like a real feline—the traditional "Seto Maneki-Neko" emerged in the late Meiji period (late 1890s to 1900s), adapting European plaster mold techniques originally used for export figurines known as Seto Novelties.
In Japanese tradition, a raised right paw is believed to invite financial fortune, prosperity, and success. The classic white cat further symbolizes purity, happiness, and positive blessings.
The hand-painted red ribbon and bell adorning its neck carry the heritage of historic celebration gifts, symbolizing auspicious occasions and tied bonds (fukumusubi). It makes a meaningful and timeless gift for personal celebrations, career milestones, or new beginnings.
