It arrives completely flat, looking almost like an ordinary vinyl pouch. Add water, however, and it opens into a surprisingly beautiful flower vase.
D-BROS designed the Flower Vase as an example of how graphic design can transform a very simple material. This version takes its inspiration from an artist's studio, with colourful shapes that look like drops of paint. Once filled, the water gives the vase its form while light refracting through the transparent material adds another dimension to the printed graphics.
Unlike a glass vase, it won't break, and when not in use it can simply be emptied, folded flat and stored away. Each pack contains two different designs, making it easy to change the composition depending on the flowers or where you place them.
To use, open the base fully and fill approximately 70% with water for stability.
