A modern lacquer bowl designed for everyday use, crafted with natural urushi that can be safely washed in the dishwasher. Made in collaboration with an Echizen lacquerware workshop founded in 1793, it brings together traditional craftsmanship and durability suited for contemporary kitchens.
The softly rounded form is coated in a warm, refined sheen, with a discreet gold “七” mark on the base—an understated detail revealed only when the bowl is lifted. Light in the hand yet quietly expressive, it adds a sense of calm presence to the table.
The medium size is ideal as a rice bowl or for smaller portions of soup, and nests neatly with other sizes for compact storage. Durable, practical, and beautifully made, it fits naturally into daily life.

Care
Not suitable for microwave, oven, or open flame. Avoid metal cutlery. Hand-wash with a soft sponge or use the dishwasher on a mild cycle. Wipe dry after washing and avoid soaking. Urushi naturally lightens over time, reflecting its aging character.
