This large uchiwa fan is made with natural washi paper and a flat bamboo handle. The square shape gives it a slightly different expression from more common round fans, while still keeping a familiar, nostalgic feeling.
It comes from Marugame in Kagawa, a region in Japan known for uchiwa making for over 400 years. Each piece is carefully finished by hand by local craftsmen.
Lightweight and easy to use, it brings a soft, gentle breeze — whether at home, during summer evenings, or outdoors.
