This is a "Tsugaru Vidro" bean plate specially ordered by Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten from Hokuyo Glass in Aomori, which started manufacturing floats for fishing in 1949. The bean plate is made using a method called “spin molding,” in which a mold in which glass seeds are dropped is rotated at high speed and molded by centrifugal force. The Tsugaru Peninsula, which can be said to be the root of "Tsugaru Vidro".
