You will never want to use simple table salt again! This squeezy pack contains shio koji; a seasoning made from fermented rice with a sweet aroma and salty flavour. A dash of this in your cooking will make the flavours stand up and sing out!
Whether you use it for pickling, as a marinade or in soups and sauces, shio koji is one of those miracle ingredients that accentuates flavours. Like MSG, but all natural!
How To Use
This traditional seasoning is easy to use.
• Cover your meat, fish or vegetables with roughly 100g of shio koji per 300g of food you are marinating. Leave to marinade overnight in the fridge.
• For vegetables just wipe off the koji and enjoy straight away.
• For meat, cook well after wiping off the koji and then enjoy.
